Christmas Eve

Everyone except the twin girls (they were sleeping).

After a yummy dinner of tortilla soup and all the fixin's we sat down and read the Christmas story in Luke. We were going to have everyone dress up and act out the story, but it was getting late, so we just read it. Brent also read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, since that is a tradition his family does on Christmas Eve. Then the craziness of opening presents began. I made the comment that my kids made out like bandits and then Andy, my brother, asked "How do bandits make out?" Ha, ha - always a joke from Andy! It was so fun just relaxing on my parents new comfy furniture and hanging out and eating lots of yummy food.

Christmas gifts from Grandma and Grandpa!

The rocking chair my mom had as a little girl - they reupholstered it to match their new living room. Harrison loved sitting in it and looking at books!
