He got strep throat last weekend, so luckily he was well enough to go to school and the pack meeting on Wednesday. This was his first Raingutter Regatta, so he would have been so disappointed to miss it! Kent helped him decorate it. It wasn't nearly as complicated as building a Pinewood Derby car!
He also got awarded some beads towards his Wolf, although he has technically earned his Wolf plus a gold and 3 silver arrows and a few belt loops, but I didn't put all the info in right on the website, so it didn't calculate everything. So instead next month will be his big award night.
He got beat out the first run by a boat that technically should have been disqualified because of the design, but of course they weren't going to do that. Otherwise, he probably would have gone far b/c afterward they were able to keep racing for fun and every time he won. No matter what, he had a lot of fun that night. Good job, Tyler!
