Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Of course we acted out the Nativity Scene as usual on Christmas Eve with my family. I, of course, was the pregnant Mary and my SIL was Mary after Jesus was born. The kids were adorable all dressed up. I always love reading and remembering the first Christmas Night, even though it can be a little chaotic with all the kids running around. :) When it was time to go, it had just started snowing, but the closer we got to Lafayette, the more snow was on the ground, and by the time we got back, the roads were pretty bad. Made for a long drive! But we made it safe and sound.

The kids loved opening their presents from Santa and us Christmas morning. Tyler's big present from Santa was, yup, a pellet/BB gun; Morgan's was a Go-Go dog; and Harrison's was a Hot Wheels Big Wheels that lights up. They were all very excited about what they got. We got them all Purdue shirts and a photo book of their last full year's age (Harrison when he was 2, Morgan 5 and Tyler 8). Harrison was also very excited to get a Woody doll that talks when you pull his string and Morgan was excited to try out her new Easy Bake oven. Tyler has become quite the Bop-It player now!

The boys love using these Socker Boppers - of course one of Kent's ideas!

After our Christmas at home, we headed over to Kent's parents' house for the Allen get-together. It was fun to see all the cousins we don't see very often and we all enjoyed just lounging about and catching up on everything. I think the favorite gift from G&G Allen this year was everyone's Zhu-Zhu pet!
