I love going to summer concerts at the park. They always bring me back to the days when my cousins and grandparents would go to Mesker Park and listen to my mom play in the Evansville Symphonic Band. Beth, I bounced my knee and everything when Stars and Stripes was played! :) We had so much fun at those things! I want my kids to grow up with an appreciation for music concerts and patriotism, especially through music. We hung out with some great friends and just had a blast. There were even cannons and a huge military helicopter there! It was a bit humid and warm, but that made it feel like a true summer concert!
