Kent's first day at Ingersoll-Rand for his summer internship was this past Monday. He was a little nervous, but he is now getting more used to everything. I know he'll be great - he doesn't expect anything less from himself.
And to add to it - he found he got STRAIGHT A'S this last module! Not even any A-'s! AND he got the highest grade in at least one of his classes and the highest score on a couple of his final exams!!! Way to go, Kent!!!!! He was so worried he was going to fail a couple of his finals and instead he got the highest scores - but he's always so hard on himself and always does better than he thinks he's going to. So to celebrate, we went to this AWESOME burger place called Bub's Burgers and Ice Cream - one of the places on my list to try out. And boy did it deliver!!! I must say it was THE BEST burger I've ever eaten! And the onion rings were to die for too. We didn't get any ice cream b/c we were so full, so we'll have to go again sometime. They have this ONE POUND burger called the Big Ugly that is HUGE. Below is a picture of it before it is cooked. 22 oz!!! Crazy! If you eat one in one sitting you get your picture on the wall. They even had some who had eaten TWO in one sitting. Those big gluttons. :) Kent and I settled for the "Not Quite So Ugly" 1/4 pound cheeseburger. Anyway, a big FIVE STARS in my book! The atmosphere was so fun and it sits right along the Monon Trail. Very cool place.
Then we went to West Park and Kent fished while the kids played on the playground.
Morgan was such a monkey and climbed right up to the top. Tyler decided it wasn't really for him. :)
The wind was pretty strong and Harrison's hair was blowing everywhere!

Kyle is the same way - so hard on himself! I'm glad you guys took a night out to celebrate. It looks like you had a good time. And that restuarant looks like my kind of restuarant. i love burgers and onion rings. mmmmm...sounds so good!
Way to go, Kent! That is awesome! It looks like you guys are having a great summer so far. We've heard about that burger place, but we've never been. Maybe we'll have to check it out. And the parks you've been finding look like so much fun. I'll have to get more detail about them later. Anyway, call me sometime. We'd love to hang out if you have time.

P.S. Next time you go to Bub's, get a banana shake. Um, yeah they are my favorite. I think about them a lot.

congrats Kent! Hope he loves it! I've never seen park equipment like that before! fun! And holy big burger! Did you go to Big Jud's when you were an Idahoan?? Same sort of thing!
